We never gave up and continued to chip away at Wright St. when we fell behind. What a confidence builder to win a close one on the road. I hope they can keep this momentum up. Great job, guys!!
 
Why can't warren be that reliable more often!

He is hit or miss, but I will take the Hit this game, we needed him to step up with their stellar D on ruff and JC
 
It was also great to see Ruff hit that shot in OT. He had a little bit of an off game, but he pulled through and hit a HUGE shot for us. He is the leader of this team and without him, we would be screwed!
 
D. Snell said Ruff was maybe 50% percent healthy tonight yet he still made some big plays tonight. Ruff...good or bad...is the heart of this team.
 
Definitely a nice road win over a solid team. It really takes the pressure off, too - now just need to get one of the next two and call it a solid nonconference mark of 8-4.
 
Nice game by AW.........nice for him to step it up when JC and DR were not at their best! I still would like to see more DC......MS missed a few bunnies tonight!
 
What a great W!!! Clutch free throws down the stretch... it was a fun one to watch, i hope this horizon liink works for the butler game.... there was a couple real nice passes down under the rim, and Salley? missed them, that was frustrating.. Ruff is so fun to watch with his passes

Because DR was hurt or wasn't 100% so JL had to run plays that included AW and that's why he had such a good game. If JL sets more plays for DR, JC AND AW he would be a more reliable player.
 
I got home just as OT was starting. I see DC saw 17min with 3/4 shooting and 7 boards. Are we going to be seeing more than him?

IMO the most important win of the season, great way to start off the road trip and a booster without a doubt. Just hope we can stay healthy!!!

I am contintually impressed with the overall athleticism and play of TW. He is such a huge contributor and undoubtedly brings up mismatches in our favor.
 
A.Warren was the 1st half star but T. Wilson was a monster on the boards toward the end of the game; M.Salley is still having trouble finishing what should be easy shots; a win on the road against Wright State is a great win.

Collins was in foul trouble for most of the game...I think he definitely would have played 25+ minutes if not for the foul trouble...He had a couple of really solid post moves while he was in there...
 
our depth was a huge factor....

They played well and gave the team energy at the end....we seemed in better shape as a whole.....
 
Simply a nice building block road win that has the potential to jump start this team.
A win is a win is a win...no matter how ugly!
 
Great to get a big road win!!

A few points:

1) Does anyone know what exactly is wrong with Ruff? I guess it cant be that bad since he played almost the whole game

2) Why dont Collins and SIngh play more the Salley? I think we have hit the ceiling with Salley and probably Singh as well but Collins still has alot of potential IMO. I think he is the only player on the team who will be able to draw double teams in the post.

3) Warren had a great game tonight and we need more of that from him BUT if I were him I would be embarressed to be subed out at the end of games on D in favor of a 6'0 tall freshman. I know Sam hustles and plays hard but come on! Warren needs to step it up on both ends of the floor consitantly for us to go from good to great

4) TCS??? They guy scored over 1100 points in JUCO and was recruited by Dana Altman.. Who would have thought he would be playing less then Sam? Imagine if he could come in and hit some shots? I think he along with Warren have the best ability to create their own shot but he is giving us nothing.

5) WILSON = Boogie = AWESOME! I would like to see us go bigger sometimes with him at the 3 like we did with Cellus, POB and Boogie. He can hit shots and put the ball on the floor and guard at the 3


6) Why did Les go out of playing zone?
