If this is considered flaming go ahead and delete it, but my McDonald's on University St. next to Jim McComb Chevrolet is competing against other McDonald's in the state in a March Madness themed contest. I am in the Elite 8 of my bracket and just beat the North Pekin McDonald's last week. We are taking on the Chillicothe McDonald's this week. We are running a promotion that if you come through the DT ONLY, you receive a FREE SANDWICH COUPON for your next visit with ANY purchase through the DT. The coupon is good for your next visit! If we win I will need you help again next Friday the 19th. If you are interested come help me out!

I was at the McDonalds by Northwoods Mall today and there was a McDonalds employee (manager type) in the dining area handing out something and urging customers to go to the McDonalds by Jim Mcomb tomorrow. Apparently she was from that McDonalds. Essentially she was in a competing McDonalds and asking customers of that store to go to her McDonalds tomorrow...She and the mgr from the store she was in were jawing, I think it was all in fun but I couldnt tell. It was the weirdest thing Ive ever seen at a McDonalds...

I saw signs about that at the Main St. and Western Ave. McD's as well.

Yeah that was my boss/owner. She told me that she was over there promoting my store too. It was all in fun. She owns them all anyways. It just so happens that that store by Northwoods was eliminated last week.
 
WOW! What a day! Not sure who came through, but thanks if you did. If we didn't advance then Chillicothe was on fire today! I will let you guys know on next Tuesday or Wednesday if we advance. We will be doing another promotion next Friday so it should be a pretty good deal for all! Special thanks to Out-of-Bounds, who I know came through and a Rabbits whisper who I know came through as well. Thanks for the support and I will let you all know what's up next week.
