A new report on chicagohoops.com says Shumpert was the most impressive player at the pretigious and exclusive LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio.
"Iman Shumpert drew quite a crowd of heavy hitters for his
games on Saturday at the LeBron James Skills Academy in
Akron, Ohio. Jim Les (Bradley), Bill Carmody
(Northwestern), Tom Crean (Marquette), Bruce Weber
(Illinois), Oliver Purnell (Clemson), Paul Hewitt (Georgia Tech)
and Mike Brey (Notre Dame) were all front and center for
Shumpert.
Shumpert, a sizzling-hot 6-3 guard, didn't disappoint as he put
his backcourt versatility on full display. He was especially good
in the evening session ...
"Shumpert told ChicagoHoops.com that he will look to trim
down his list of schools after he gets an opportunity to make
visits to both Notre Dame and Bradley."

"Shumpert was likewise terrific in the evening session running
the point, and setting up his teammates for easy buckets. As
usual, Shumpert showed an ability to play either guard slot
interchangeably. Simpson teamed with Shumpert and cleaned
up inside while also showing his ability to knock down his hook
shot with either hand on the block. Highly regarded Delvon
Roe, and state of Missouri standout Scott Suggs were among
Shumpert and Simpson's teammates."

Van Coleman (Hoopmasters) has this to say, noting Jim Les in attendance:
"Iman Shumpert 6-foot-3 PG Oak Park, IL Oak Park & River
Forest is really starting to mature as a point guard prospect.
He is quick and explosive off the dribble and is a solid passer.
He drills perimeter jumper to set it all up. He says that North
Carolina, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Bradley,
Notre Dame, and Connecticut are his schools."
