Indiana State drops M & W tennis ......

Where are those posters here who think it is easy for colleges to field competetive D1 tennis teams at little or no additional cost? The Indiana State people must not buy into that logic! :)

It's a lot easier if you at least put effort in football.

I could probably beat InSU football single-handedly. . .literally. . .if I was missing an arm I could still do it.

The fan and alumni support at Indiana State is embarrassingly poor for all their sports. Basketball gets a modicum of support, but less than they should considering there isn't much else for people to do in Terre Haute in the winter, and it is a basketball-crazy state. Their other sports get very little interest, including football, which has been very bad for a number of years. This is obviously a money-saving move designed to stay viable and still maintain the minimum number of varsity sports required to remain in Division I.
