I would HOPE he doesn't go to Creighton. That would hurt. If he goes to ISUBlue I doubt that team will be good enough in the near future to worry about him for now.

Does anyone think we are even in the running at this point?
 
DO you think AD is more ready than Gant? And didn't Gant just shoot up last year or so- couldn't he play a 3?
 
He's gonna be a Sycamore it's pretty confirmed.....I think our team has the talent that when he is a frosh we maybe an MVC favorite....

To play against?

Not really seeing how they'd make that jump next season, but keep believin' SycamoreS!!!

I'm not saying you are wrong...I'm just saying that the same people who broke Jake Kelly's transfer away from Iowa 3 days early, then confirmed his commitment to ISUblue a week before it was official are saying that Gant has informed the Iowa coaches he will attend Iowa next year.

This group has been wrong exactly twice in the 5 years I have been brought into the loop...so I hope it won't become 3 times!

We all drink Kool-aid, ours is red and his is blue! Nothing wrong with hope. I'm hoping that ISUblue becomes a much better stable program. The league needs every team right now to step up their game.
 
Justin Gant's father has now reportedly told Mike Pegram that it will be Indiana State..
He's a good player and a good kid...I hope he has a fine 4 years in college!

Me too. Nothing wrong with a kid staying with the local team! He should get some playing time as a Freshman and his folks will have no problems watching him play.
 
It appears to be legit -- Justin Gant, Class of 2011 to Indiana State...Jake Kelly will be gone, but InSU should have some nice young talent...but i am still not sure he's ready to step in and play as a frosh in the Valley....

note though that as in most years, 2010 had no freshmen on either the 1st or 2nd team All Valley, and no freshman front court player was in the top 15 scoring or rebounding...
 
It's OOOOOOOOFFICIAL...Gant is a Sycamore.....I think McKenna being gone may be a blessing in disguise...Lansing is a glue guy...great recruiter and a great leader...The players cared very little for McKenna and love Lansing....
