Lennox Forrester is off and running as the new coach at SIU-Edwardsville. He signed his first recruit yesterday, Terrance Williams, a 7-foot center from Edwardsville high school. Bradley had recruited Williams. He averaged over 6 blocks a game (175 total), along with 7.5 ppg, and 8.1 rpg, and he shot 63%.

According to Rivals.com, Williams also received offers from SIU, Wyoming, Missouri, and Ill-Chicago, but the article mentions Williams also was recruited by Southern Indiana, Ball State and SIU-Carbondale.

I understand he also has a talented transfer headed his way with some D-I experience.

Just prior to landing the 7-footer from Edwardsville High School, guess who Lennox hired as one of his assistants at SIU-E?

He hired Mark Allaria, an assistant basketball coach at Edwardsville High School!
Within a couple days of Allaria's hiring, the star Edwardsville player committed to SIU-E!

Lennox is a genius, and if there is ever a reason Bradley needs to replace Jim Les...I nominate Lennox Forrester to coach BU!
 
There's a 7-footer in Edwardsville?!? I didn't knew we grew 'em that big back home.

Also, I've heard from someone close to the team that Saihou Jassey will be following Coach Forrester to SIUE. Nothing certain yet, but that seems to be the case.
