Manny being Manny- tests positive for banned drug

This is a big blow to the LA Dodgers. Manny Ramirez tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing drug and has been suspended for 50 games by MLB.

His agent (Scott Boras) has reportedly denied that Manny used steroids, so we'll probably be hearing more about this.

If you went back to the old days of the 1920's or 1930's, you would find that baseball players were probably not using steroids, but they were using amphetamines or similar drugs.

as far back as nearly a decade ago, Ken Caminiti (1996 NL MVP) testified that 1/2 the major leaguers were using steroids

and he even said he was almost certain Manny was using....
