Mid-major no more?

With all the wins by Valley teams over the last couple of years, you have to wonder how much longer Valley teams will be considered underdogs. Also, can teams such as WSU continue this dominance or be a legitimate Final Four team come April?

Most definately! WSU was one win away from the Elite Eight last year. Win that game, and George Mason has no chance of knocking off U Conn for the Final Four. I'm not sure WSU would have beaten U Conn last year, but when they beat another Final Four participant from last year that looks like they have a shot to make it again this year (on the road no less), well, that's saying something!

Of course only four teams make it to the Final Four, so the chances are slim, but certainly possible the way WSU is playing this year! I can't rule out a second Valley team making a run toward the Final Four as well, but WSU sure looks like the team to beat right now.
