MJ's kid

This story is about the younger of Michael Jordan's two kids, Marcus Jordan.

Seems the rumors that he will transfer high schools is true, and our own board poster,
Daniel Poneman has a fine story on the DePaul Rivals site.

Here are a few excerpts, but PM me if you want to know more....

Check out the DePaul Rivals site, and it is arguably the very best Rivals team site I have seen
with endless current stories on recruits and college basketball.
The two guys that run the site, Michael Ciepierski and Nathan Wollack frequently post on our
board as well as freshjive2103 and ciepierball

"Marcus Jordan to Finish Up at Young"

... Marcus, a 6'3" guard playing for Loyola Academy in Willmette, Illinois...one of the top guard prospects nationally for the 2009 class,
is expected to finish the final two years of his high school career at Whitney Young in the city, joining an already loaded class.

Marcus will join Chris Colvin at Whitney Young, 6'8" junior-to-be center Stan Brown... 6'4" forwards Antonio Johnson and Franklin Griffin, both of who will be juniors next season. The team will be lead by next year senior's Bryan Hall and A.J. Rompza. AJ is a crafty 5'8" point guard ...

Marcus is receiving heavy interest from a number of high major programs...Illinois, Florida, and Michigan State ..."

Thanks Much!

Thanks Much!

Daniel Poneman did a great job breaking this story out. This has been something that has been brewing for awhile, as I know that last year both Marcus and Jeff were thinking about transferring. We will have more on this in coming weeks of course, but I'm glad this info went out to your board.

Thanks again for the kind words, and if you guys ever need something in regards to recruiting information, I am always willing to help, as Bradley is my 2nd favorite team in the country!

Thanks Ciepierball, as you well know, our past coach and good friend, Jim Molinari was a DePaul/Ray Meyer guy,
and I know many Bradley fans like myself have admiration and respect for DePaul as well.
We will miss the rivalry unless someone can get the talks going again.

I'm not sure that too many DePaul fans will miss the rivalry however...
