"Most disliked Bradley Brave" voting on ISU fan site...

Thanks for posting ER, but, no offense, I really don't think Bradley fans care what the ISU fans think about former Bradley players/coaches/fans. And I hope this thread dies quickly.
I am constantly amazed at the obsession ISU fans have with Bradley and trying to insult/put down Bradley and their fans. It is mostly a one way street, as every Bradley fan I know thinks very little about ISU and their past players.
Can anyone explain their obsession? They have a good team and they should be focused on their own team and success, but there are constantly ISU fans here on the Bradley board (I can't recall ever seeing a Bradley fan post on their board), and many of their discussions involve attacks and insults toward Bradley.
 
That thread is hilarious. It's what rivalries should be about. I wish we were playing up to expectations this year...it could have been one of the most important BU-ISU games in a long, long time.
 
Wow ISU fans really are quite obsessive about BU and our former players/coaches and current fans/coaches.

BTW I dont think any of us look down our noses at ISU, we dont really give them a first thought, more or less ignored.

Lighten up, Francis. I thought it was funny...I found it interesting to read their reasoning behind why they might have dislike for AP, Hawkins, Les, Zobrist, etc...and I thought it was especially appropriate to put it out here because they had voted for Tornado in the thread...
If it doesn't interest you, then ignore it, I suppose. I thought others might find that it was good for a laugh and would maybe spice up the rivalry a little bit before tonight's game...a rivalry which has become pretty bland lately with no years where BU and ISU are in contention together...

hey, I take it as a compliment to be among the most despised "BU Players" in the eyes of ISU fans! Somehow they judge me harshly just for citing facts about their team and players??
If they want, I can always post the most recent McLean County court docket links for their players.... :)

But somehow I suspect that if I were an ISU fan, they'd wouldn't at all dislike having me as one of their fans.

I agree...I would be flattered, as well...
 
I have heard for the past week that They were hoping to have Ruffin available to play a few minutes a half. But it was truly going to be a gametime decision (not just a pretend gametime decision-:)).

This way, now that news has leaked out, ISU will have to prepare for both possibilities!

There is no obsession. This type of thread is something I started with the Drake game. I guess we are obsessed with them too, huh?

BTW, here is the criteria for voting:

Who is the one former / present Drake Bulldog that you disliked the most? Maybe there was a guy that always seemed to kill us or maybe it was just a guy that was very cocky or a player that got away with a lot.

The Salley thing was by some Drake fan who is generally a j@ck@ss on ValleyTalk. I had heard a while back that BU may privately be targeting this date, but in all honesty I would say there is little chance DR sees the floor tonight. I don't want DR playing unless he's 100%, and quite frankly I don't think he is yet. It hasn't been long enough.

That's why I was surprised to see any possibility of Ruffin on the court tonight, even for a few minutes. I have a hard time believing he's back to 100% in less than four weeks! I can only imagine the mood around here if he were to aggravate/re-injure himself for the sake of playing "a few minutes".

Chalk it up to basketball envy. Since going Div. 1, their teams have done NOTHING on the national scene ... other than produce Doug Collins. Their fans aren't the most knowledgable, but ARE the most fickle. Their attendance figures over the years bear this out. There is hope for them, however. They have a great AD and, apparently, a pretty good coach.
 
If the ISU fans have a certain pride and even if they want to be a little braggish, I guess they have the right this year.
they are doing well and BU hasn't been, so I can take it if they want to rub it in a little.
BUT...the season is not yet over, and there may yet be a little chance some will be eating their words.

Posting which player you hate the most makes more sense to me then posting which players got speeding tickets.
