MVC 2-Loss Trivia

Creighton and Wichita St both are 8-2 currently but play each other on 3/2, so one team is guaranteed a 3rd loss.

Since 2001-02 only 3 MVC teams have finished with 1 or 2 loses in MVC play. No one has gone undefeated. Name the teams and seasons.
 
SIU was 16-2 in 2003
SIU was 17-1 in 2004
Wichita was 16-2 last year in 2012
but going back 10 years the 2nd place team always had 4 or more losses - so in every season the past decade,
3 losses would have been good enough to win the Valley

I'm going to do this without referencing the good ol' internet. I'm not too confident I can get it right, and it's mostly a shot in the dark.

2002-'03: Creighton (16-2) - when Korver was a senior, I believe (???)
2003-'04: SIU (17-1) - BU almost knocked them off, but for a last second - full court pass to Sly Willis for layup
2005-'06: Wichita St. (16-2) - and BU beat 'em as the #4 seed on their way to face the Salukis in the championship game

I don't deny I checked the MVC web site - but only to check on the exact records - I already knew what year to look for

After research, looks like I was off a bit on these teams/records.

In fact, in 2002-'03, SIU won the Valley title over CU.

I thought Wichita St. (14-4) ran through the league in 2005-'06, but I guess that shows the strength of the league back then, as 4 teams made the NCAA tourney. That was the best year in the Valley I can remember...since I started following in 1993.
