MVC All-Time Team Vote

Dallas Brave

New member
I just cast http://www.mvc100.org/MvcMain.asp my votes for the all-time MVC coaches, teams, and greatest player.

One name that seemed noticeably absent from the players ballot is Walt Frazier who played for SIU. Given that he was such a stud for the Knicks, he had to have been an outstanding collegiate player. Does any one have an explanation on why Clyde the Glide was left off the ballot?

Also, the list of MVC coaches is mind-boggling impressive.

SIU wasn't in the Valley when Frasier played.

There's a section somewhere on the Valley website that gives credit to players like Frasier and Doug Collins by calling them 'Institutional Greats' or something to that effect.

Maybe SIU wasnt in the Valley at the time when Frazier played?

On the womans side there was not one BU player nominated, I realize BU's tradition in womans bball isnt well much but Heather Best was an incredible player and I thought deserved a nomination especially if Jenny Schmidt of ISU got one, Best was a better player . Tammy Van Oppen was also much better then Schmidt.

The Big O

The Big O

No, this is not what you think it is

I had to pick The Big O, Oscar Robertson over Larry Bird as best player ever. I saw Bird and he was something else, but from what I've heard about the Big O he was a man among boys. Didn't he average a Triple Double for his career :? :?:
