MVC Player of the Year and All-MVC teams

In the past years, the Tuesday before the tournament was when the MVC released the results of the Lary Bird Player of the Year award and the All-Conference teams.
So we are expecting the following to be announced today (Tues. 2/28 )-
Player of the Year
All Conference Teams (1st, 2nd, and Hon. Mention)
Newcomer of the Year
All-Newcomer Team
Freshman of the Year
All-Freshman Team
Defensive MVP
All-Defensive Team
Sixth Man of the Year
Defensive Team of the Year

Specialty teams to be announced Wed. 2/29
All-Bench Team
All-Bench Team Captain
Most Improved Team
Most Improved Team Captain

Coach of the Year (to be announced Thursday 3/1)

Hopefully Walt will make it on the Most Improved team...but I haven't thought about others in the Valley who have improved just as much - if not more.
At least he has almost doubled his ppg total from last year.
I believe 6.4 to 12.5 (currently) and he has arguably played the biggest role in of our offense all year.
