Something funny--
The MVC-TV broadcast has a thing about all the personal sides of stories. I am getting slightly sick of all the references to Emmenecker and Cox being walkons, and Emmenecker's 4 majors, and grade-point average. They are interesting sidelights, but do they really need to tell us about these things so many times?

Another funny thing they just showed- Mrs. Korver, who gets more camera time than her sons, sat behind the Creighton bench for the first half, and is now sitting behind the Drake bench for the 2nd half. I have always admired the Korvers, they seem like great parents, and devote a lot of time to following their kids. But now it seems to be more about them, than their kids. She even changed from a Creighton shirt into a Drake shirt at halftime, and seemed to know right away when she was on camera.
I am just about Korvered out!
 
Well as predicted, Drake coasts over Creighton. I think BU ran CU around a little to much yesterday lol. CU made a couple of good runs but Drake held em off easily. I really don't see ISU or UNI beating them tomorrow. ISU barely beat a wore down MO State team and UNI will probably be crawling around on the court after playing SIU and ISU.
 
The two semifinal games today were complete opposites.

The Drake-Creighton game was as fun to watch as any game I think I've seen this year. It wasn't necessarily a "well-played" or "good" game from a fundamentals standpoint, but the way those 3's were flying and the constant momentum shifts made for a very fun game to watch.

The ISU-UNI game was a dull as can be. There were very few highlights and my dislike of ISU made it tough to watch them coast to the finals. I hope Drake can give the MVC the best storyline in college basketball by winning their first Arch Madness tomorrow!

And personally, I don't think the game matters beyond the seedings. I believe Drake and ISU are both in, but Drake can reach for a 4 spot with a win and ISU could end up as high as 8 with a win. Just my opinion.
