My One Problem with Geno

He wears his ties too short. Seriously. Needs to fix that ... sloppy image for BU. Somebody get on this.

I was impressed that Asst. Coach Graham's wife recognized me from a short conversation at
the Dunlap event months ago ...I was impressed - pretty amazing memory
 
I will give him the tie this once, before the game he kept tugging at his collar, and you could tell he was pretty nervous/excited about the first game of the new season. I thought that energy transfered to the players, and I loved the way we started off playing, just need to maintain that first couple of minutes out to the entire game!
 
As long as he's in a suit I'm fine :) That's my favorite part about Coach Les (and I wasn't really a huge fan). He kept everyone classy :) Don't knock the short ties, Frankie, Dino and all them wore their ties short, maybe Geno's bringing back a trend of the 40's!
 
He can wear a bow tie all I care as long as the team competes and win!;) I like the suit thing but if he decided he wanted to wear sweats I'd be fine with that.
 
To me wearing a suit and tie coaching a game makes no sense. Why not be a bit more comfortable?

Nice dress pants and a BU polo would be fine with me. Or a sweater when its colder.

I can sort of see that, but I miss the days when coaches of all sports dressed in suits. There's one picture at my High School of a football team from the 40's, the coach has a fedora and an overcoat over his suit, and that was on a practice day! It just seems authentic to me, I like the suits, but then again, I own around six haha

DC, this is a great point! How could Willie let this happen??!! Geno actually dresses pretty well aside from the short ties. Let's see whether Geno reads this board ... if his tie is at mid-belt for SEMO, we'll know why! :)

Casual dress is fine

I like seeing the coaches all dressed the same, it looks nice and adds a little i think. Khaki pants with very nice red polo with the cool looking stripe would be great with comfort and class.

now for the floor sweepers !!!!!

they look better than they used to but come on !!!! could we look a little better please ??? Half the time they look hung over or like they unrolled their shirts from the glove compartment of their vehicle. Buy them some matching sweats and make them comb their hair, pull up their pants if not get somebody new. All TV games show those guys and portray a bad BU image.
