New BradleyBraves.com

Hey guys, we launched a new design for BradleyBraves.com early this morning and it definitely is a much cleaner looking site. I am sure it will take some time to adjust, but I'd love to get some feedback. Two rules: 1) If you love it, post away and tell the world. 2) If you hate it, private message me.

I have already been checking it out, and I like it a lot. I think it is a nice improvement over the old format. Great work Bobby!

A very nice visual improvement. It's very slow right now, but I'm guessing that may be related to a lot of people checking out the new site. Just a question, have you guys thought about a mobile-specific site? I check bradleybraves.com as often on my phone as I do on a computer, and neither the old nor the new layout works all that well on a small touch screen.

The site looks good. Any chance of bringing back the all time men's basketball database? It used to be nice to pick location, BU coach, year, and opponent and have the results instantly.

definitely loads a bit faster..but many of the hyperlink texts do NOT appear unless you hold the cursor over them...

so unless you know where the auto-drop down links are on the page to get to "Teams - Men's Basketball" then novices wouldn't have a clue how to navigate...
It might just be the system I am on but it is running Microsoft Explorer and I am still having some troubles....

Bobby I sent you a PM ;)

haha just kidding looks GREAT!

I'm glad Bobby's dream came true!
The website's interface is a lot better and it's much easier to find info and stats. If only I had it last night when I was writing some Scout articles lol

...have you guys thought about a mobile-specific site?

I really hope you have plans for a mobile site. This is a must for today's world. Especially if you're linking to your site from Social Media. More and more social media is conducted on mobile. (I like your Facebook integration, though)

Also, thank you for fixing my biggest pet peeve...all the different style "B" logos on the site. Stick with the main logo font and build a brand identity. Now if you could just fix all the team clothing that has no brand discipline.

Lastly, I hope the video content is increased and improved next year. It started off well, but seemed to tail off. I want free game highlights of soccer, basketball and baseball. As well as free post game interviews. Make full games available to paying subscribers.

I'd also like to see less advertising...or at least better advertising. The local sponsors look fine. But TaxSlayer.com? Lifelock? These ads look too spammy.

That's just my professional opinion. All in all...a big improvement over the last site. Nice work.

He asked for PMs! ;-) I more or less PMed the same thing. The web-site does look good though on my handheld.

yeah i was wondering about archives......to find rosters and stats and schedules from all teams going back a long time.

Maybe we can update our message board software.....the new ones is sweet and you get more smileys :o

"Cleaner" and "Brighter" than previous version. Looks good! Nice job.

From what I saw during the 2010-11 season, BU can now focus on improving the access and reliability of the BU TV live MBB game streaming product.

One other thing that was frustrating for me was trying to go through the former BB.com site to stream WMBD Radio MBB Broadcasts ... Seemed cumbersome. Just have one icon on home page to select radio streaming if BU will continue to stream WMBD MBB broadcasts through their BB.com site for free.

Some of that historical data is there- click on the far right of the Menu bar on More, and Records-

That's nice and all. However, do you remember when you could check to see how, for example, Dick Versace's teams scored over 80 points on the road and it would give you the results of all those games? Somebody inputted a lot of data and it hasn't been available for several years that I know of. It was a handy tool.

The new site is cleaner and brighter and the user interface is less cumbersome. I do not like all the advertising! It appears to me that 1/3rd of the home page is advertising. It's too much for my liking, but I don't know the economics either. All and all, I like it better to use than the old one. Thanks for taking its revamp on!
