New NCAA rule allows scrimmages between teams

A-ha.

I wouldn't be surprised to see UIUC schedule one of these as a road game in the MVC. (likely at SIU)

I wouldn't mind if Bradley did a game like this. :wink:
 
ISU has done this the past 2 seasons with Ball State.

I wonder why they rule these workouts have to be private?

Schools probably aren't allowed to make money off the scrimmages (i.e. from ticket sales)

Not sure I buy into that.

First of all, these are 'exhibitions' - not 'scrimmages'.

Secondly, doesn't Bradley sell hot dogs and chips as well as charge an entrance fee to get into even the Red/White? So doesn't that money go somewhere related to Men's Bradley Basketball?
