Bradley has the longest win streak of any MVC team with a 3 game winning streak. They play at Creighton Thursday at 7:05 pm at the Quest Center in Omaha. Creighton is coming off a loss at Wichita State on Monday 62-59.

Nate Funk is the leading scorer at 16.4 ppg, 3rd in the MVC. Bradley's leading scorer, Jeremy Crouch at 16.4 ppg, will not play because of his knee injury.

The game is not on broadcast TV, and apparently is not available on BUBraves.tv either.

Creighton is 11-6 overall and 5-2 in the MVC. They are in a 1st place tie in the MVC. Bradley is 13-6, 4-3 and 1 game behind the leaders in 6th place in the MVC. Bradley's RPI is 26, Creighton's is 33.

i was reading on the creighton board and found this post from someone talking about who they think can give them problems...thought it was kinda funny:

"I agree, Ruffin seems like he could be a problem as well as the guy who gets up off the floor like a break dancer."

It looks like the game is on tv in Nebraska on NETV (Nebraska PBS).

Anyone know if they stream? The game doesn't look like it is going to be on BUBRAVES.TV or on the MVC web stream package......

Maybe it's just me.......but shouldn't all Away games be on TV? :? I know WEEK is only doing 6 games this year.....but this is a Big contest and it should be on! Would have been a nice game for Foxmidwest or camcast!

Braves really need to steal this game....CU is due for a let-down @ home.......we need this game to knock-off a front-runner and get the grab a tie record @ 5-3! Let get this done  Braves!

I think Bradley needs to start looking at a replacement for Week if they are only going to show 6 games; we are coming off a sweet 16 season and they decide to cut down on their broadcasts; this is very disturbing to me that the team is now fun to watch and yet we cannot watch them.

Are you kidding? If they showed the BU game ,think of the outcry from the masses about missing such classics as, My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, and 30 Rock. All intellectually stimulating and oh yea also, RERUNS!
Go figure???????????????????

The MVC needs to look into having it's own network like the Big10 just decided to do. It is the thing of the future. Instead of getting a couple games sprinkled across the lineup by ESPN and Deuce... people can add the MVC network to their cable package. The MVC needs to go out (for example) to like the MAC (for their football as well), along with the WAC, Horizon, ConfUSA, A10 and make a collective effort to televise all sports games on a network and then take it to (like) DishNetwork or whatever and try to get subscribers to pay 'X' amount to get all those conferences games. If it happens, I am switching to satelite!

I found this link on the Blue Jay Cafe sight. The third paragraph indicates there may be a free on-line viewing option on two different websites.

Creighton Game Will Be Broadcast
Statewide Tonight On NET1
Tonight's Creighton University men's basketball game against Bradley University will be the first of two Bluejay broadcasts by NET1 (Cox Channel 12) Television. It will air statewide and in high definition on NET-HD (Cox Channel 812).

Kevin Kugler will call the play-by-play and Scott Schumacher will serve as analyst. Kugler is co-host of "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" on KOZN (1620 AM) and also handles college football and basketball broadcasts for the Westwood One radio network. Schumacher is a former sports information director who worked at Wichita State University.

The game will also be broadcast free on two websites, www.gocreighton.tv and www.netnebraska.org.

It looks to me like the NETV site will have the streaming video for free. At least there is no way to sign up or subscribe like there always is on sites that charge for the service. So I guess we'll see.

Wow thats great to see the game is available on www.gocreighton.tv and www.netnebraska.org. Has anyone used either of these websites before?? Im just excited I get to watch the game on my laptop time.

GO BRAVES

For the record, I have watched a few CU games through their feed this year on the MVC site. I have been very pleased. It is a normal broadcast, not a feed from the arena (like BU, WSU, EU, etc..) does. I usually listen to the audio from Snell and Coach and it synchs fairly well usually. But if you don't have the MVC package (which I again will recommend because it is GREAT), I would definitely get the individual game tonight.

I think it's still free on netnebraska.org. Now, when you go to the website, and click the link labeled "live webcast" it says

"We support Windows Media Player for streaming. You can get the latest version here. Once the program starts, please click on the logo below to begin the stream. If you are unable to connect to this webcast now, please try again in a few moments. If you are still unable to connect, please email us and we will provide support. Please include as much detail of the problem you are having as possible."

It does not re-direct you to the creightontv website.
