Peoria Carver 15 and Under AAU team

The Peoria Carver 15 and Under AAU Team got second place yesterday in the Real Deal on the Hill tournament. They lost to the Spiece Indy Heat 73-70. Donivine Stewart led all scorers with 18 Points and he had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer but missed.

Sounds like this team is loaded with talent. Does anyone have insight on the other players on this team?

The Peoria Carver 15U has Donivine Stewart and Andrew Jordan, and I don't know the other players on their roster.

There are two other Peoria Woodruff players on the team. Trey Dorsey and Diondre Nunn both saw action for the Varsity squad. Nunn is a sharpshooter who is worth keeping an eye on. He's already 6'2. If Jordan sticks around, Woodruff could finally make a step out of the MS-5 cellar and make some noise in the conference.

Travis Kellum, who got big minutes on the Varsity of Peoria Central is also on the squad. I'm surprised he doesn't get more attention, as he played very well.

Brandon Watson is also on the team. He's 6'5 220+ and dressed for Manual's Varsity, but did not get many minutes. He will probably be asked to step in for the now departed Lawyer Crowder and Stottie Brown.

Codey Funk rounds out the team, and he had a big year for El Paso-Gridley. He started for the Varsity and posted many double-doubles.

Very talented group of kids. I'm not surprised to see them doing so well.
