One of the Kings' top players during their resurgence, forward Todd Peterson, sat out with a foot injury. He said he hopes to return next weekend.
Peterson, a former Pekin and Northern Illinois player, was one of four Peoria lineup scratches against Quad City. McClain said Phillip Gilbert's status with the team is unclear after the former Bradley guard missed recent practices and failed to return phone calls.
Former Bradley player Jason Faulknor had 9 points for Quad City.
