Great Player and good person

I would like to think so BF124, and that's the impression he gave me in the limited games I was able to watch him, which was only about 4 total.
Was a die-hard Braves fan then, but living in SW FL, didn't have access to games like we do now.

I have great respect for Phillip Gilbert. Phil came from East St. Louis, one of the worst school districts in the state, and maybe in the US, not to mention the other social problems in the city of East St. Louis. Yet, he was a good student at Bradley, a great player for the Braves, and a terrific person. He graduated from Bradley with a degree in criminal justice, and recently got a Masters Degree in business administration from Lindenwood University in St. Louis. He has been the Athletic Director for Madison Community School District 12 for the last 7 years-

Most of us can't conceive how difficult it is for kids with that background to succeed, but Phil has. Congratulations to Phil.

Phillip Gilbert has made it known on his social media that altho he loves his position at the high school,
he has been actively searching for & pursuing an Athletic Director position at the college level.
It just hasn't happened yet, but I hope & think it will some day.
