Nice game. BU subs get a lot of floor time.
Ruffin goes over 1000 points and 500 rebounds for his career, only the 4th player in MVC history to do so.

Next up: Michigan State.

Jeremy Crouch is really starting to find it from long range going 7 of 9 to up his percentage for the year to7%. Every little SEMO run JC answered with a dagger.

David Collins went 6 of 7 in 15 minutes. He added 2 for 2 from the line and 3 boards.

I thought Matt Salley was having a hard time controlling his emotions and was on the verge of a T of two, maybe even getting tossed.

Sam Maniscalco is just getting for and more comfortable. He does all the little things and is not afraid to take the big shot.

Will Egolf does a lot of good things, but I wish he would post up more and leave the threes to the guards. I think Coach even called one time out when BU was on a mini break and Will was going to launch a long one.

Sam Singh’s minutes have disappeared. I guess DC is taking them. I wish Sam would get more in place of Salley.

Cole-Scott didn’t start so well, but ended with one of his better games.

Theron Wilson had a bad night from the line but had 7 boards. Oh, if only those tip dunks would have gone down.

Andrew Warren had a quiet 15 minutes. He had that one big game and has been pretty silent since.

And oh yeah, Ruff surpassed 1000 points. Congrats to Daniel.

Finally, BU soccer 3 Mary Land 2. Take that Gary Williams. You and your turtles.

da coach and tornado are becoming celebrities around the Bradley campus. sitting in the student section i heard plenty of murmurs about both. Congrats on your new found fame
 
Pretty fun night......always good to win! Nice crowd for the weather! Congrats to DR for an off night shooting but 8 asst and 7 rbs to go with 3 steals makes up for it! Nice to see DR hit the top 4 in the MVC with 1000 pts and over 500 assts! JC has found his shot again hitting 3's at will! I do think JL needes to throttle WE on the 3's......by my count he is 0-10 this season?TCS looked better and DC is hitting the nice little hookers in close and seems to be taking the ball to the hoop more....OH YEAH......SM is getting better by the game!:cool: If I recall correct, SS didn't get into the game until 2:30 to go when RA also entered the game? AW had an off night...it happens and he will come back!:wink:
 
This was from tip to horn our best team effort. Still worried about our ball handling 16 TO's and 10 at half are way to many against good teams. Those must be cut down.

But we got double figure minutes out of 9 players, contributions from everyone and JC seems to have found his stroke from 3. I think we might be seeing some maturiety but Tuesday is a completely different animal from what we have experienced so far.

Looking forward to Tuesday and believe if we handle the ball, this game will get up and down, control or atleast match them on the boards we will have a great opportunity for a win.

Congrats to the Soccer team, great win.
 
Not too much to add that hasnt been already said...

Thought that our bigs Collins and Egolf in particular had moments tonight in which they lost their concentration in the game.

I like Cole Scott, but think that he needs to step up his defense.

Keep cranking out those 3's JC espcially this coming Tuesday.

PA announcer botched the soccer win announcement...

The last time that I have seen this team in person was the Florida Gulf Coast game. This team continues to improve...imo

Congrats again to BU soccer on the miracle in Maryland! :)
 
One glaring thing I noticed.... BU substitutions.

Yes, there were plenty.... but they were NOT as often.

Almost as if they went with 4 minute intervals with lineups instead of like maybe 2 minute intervals or something. As if the coaching staff is finding the lineups they like and the rotations they like.
 
I had a lot of fun at this game. I felt like BU finally put a couple of halves together. Only time SEMO got anywhere was with 4 of the newcomers on the floor at the same time. Lotta good minutes for some guys who just need minutes. I actually want Egolf to keep throwing up the threes, because I think when he finds the range he'll be fine... so the sooner he gets his confidence, the better. I felt pretty much the same about Cole-Scott. I want him to kind of keep trying until he builds his confidence, because I think he'll be good when it finally starts falling for him.
 
Yeah, I have no problem with Egolf missing all those 3's. By all accounts, he's supposed to be a capable shooter. Just that confidence issue is probably holding him back. It's very different from Egolf shooting a 3 and, say, a Matt Salley shooting the 3. Not a knock on Matt, but that's definitely not his game.

This surprises me, considering the anonymity provided by the internet.... :)

Personally, I think the BU students have done an unbelievable job of supporting the Braves....keep it up!
