It's already been posted that the Jim Les radio show will have a different format this season.
Coach Les will appear on WMBD 1470 AM radio twice weekly, in 2 half-hour segments.
He will be on Monday mornings from 8:30-9:00 am with Greg Batton and Dan Diorio--

And Saturday mornings from 7:30-8:00 am on The Saturday Sports Page with Shaun Newell and Jonny King.--

The Jim Les Radio Show will start next Monday, October 27.

Similar to last year, Coach Les may take calls from listeners and answer questions from emails. We have been invited to solicit some questions from the fans on BradleyFans.com to submit to WMBD and Coach Les will answer as many as time allows.

So please help us!
Post questions for the coach here in this thread and I will forward them to the shows.
I'll ask that posters not answer or discuss the questions here in this thread, or it gets more difficult to cull out the valid questions for the coach. But this is your chance to get answers to your questions right from the source. At the end of each week, we'll remove the questions and start a new thread for the next week's questions.
Thanks!

I'll start with a couple obvious questions--

Do you anticipate that Sam Maniscalco, Andrew Warren, and Theron Wilson will be among the starting lineup?
Who might be the other starters?
Who has been most impressive among the newcomers? And among the returning players.

How much has David Collins improved due to his experience with the Canadian national team's practice squad?

When did Sam Singh decide to totally transform himself for the upcoming season? Did the coaching staff expect him to do this during the off-season?

Is there a prioriety with the last scholorship for next season?

Any thoughts on coming to Houston for a game in the next 4 years?

If the newest class were poled on why they chose BU which would be a bigger influence 1) sweet 16 and or 20+ wins last 3 years, 2) new Physilities, 3) the large number of past BU players playing professional basketball?

Since becoming a college basketball coach who do you consider to be your mentor, or who do you go to when you want advise?

Do you have a personal routine on game day?

With size as a possible advantage for the first time since OB in 06, have you worked on/thought of working on/drawn up (new) "Out of Bounds Plays" for this season?

Any thought on holiday tournaments next year

Any thought on holiday tournaments next year

Please ask Coach Les if there are any plans for a holiday tournament in 2009. 5 years ago Bradley played in Hawaii and the following year played in Las Vegas. It would be nice to have a road trip in a tourist area over the holidays.

1.) What role do you have for Anthony Thompson with this years team?

2.) Now that you and your coaching staff have a year of experience working together, what tasks have you delegated to your assistant coaches?

Do you expect Belgian "stocks" to be among your top 5 performers in the first half of 2009?

During this transitional facility periof, is practice time any more or less productive than in years past?

Coach mentioned that people compare Eddren and Darian because they are the same size but they are completely different players. How are they different, who is the best prepared to step in and play?
You mentioned, I think it was at the smoker, you were not close to any of the MVC coaches. Have you gotten any insight from Dana on the Flordia game?
Jim I think you mentioned in one of your interviews that you had success with the four guard lineup and would continue to employ it this season. Will we see two bigs on the floor at the same time this season?

With the last scholarship for 2009...are we still recruiting the best athelete available or are we looking for a certain position?

Since it's the players who are out on the floor what are their expectations for this upcoming season? Where do they see themselves come March? What kind of mindsets/attitudes/effort are they putting forward to achieve their goal as a team?

Being potentially deep at each position this year, who do you believe has earned playing minutes but will find it hard to get him those minutes each game ?

Are you fully prepared to play 12 guys and get everyone minutes if no one redshirts?

Along w/ that question, because of the advantage of having 12 guys and being this deep, have you thought at all about implementing a full-court press or full-court trap defense to get some easy points off our defense?

Thanks for the great questions everyone!

I sent in all the questions posted above, and a few more PM'ed to me to WMBD.

The first Jim Les Live show is Monday, October 27th. He will be on with Greg and Dan from 8:30-9:00am. So listen and see if they go over any of these questions.

And continue to post more questions for future shows.

If you had to pick a player on the Bradley roster who you would bet has the best chances to play in the NBA who would you pick?

BTW, Is this going to be available on podcast or anything? I'm going to be at work but I am going to try to catch some bits and parts if I can.
