It has been reported that he will probably undergo surgery Tuesday (11/17), and will eventually have a cast put on his fractured left forearm.

BU fans and others who would like to take a minute and send "get well" wishes to Dodie (like we did last year for Will), or put a virtual-signature on his cast, please do so here.

From me-
Dodie, you are one of the brightest and friendliest players who has ever chosen to come to Bradley. I and all the fans appreciate you and the effort you give. Sorry you seem to to be bitten with this injury thing, but thank goodness you will be able to recover and hopefully return next year.
God bless you and have a fast recovery and get well soon. We'll see you on the sidelines this season, and back on the floor next year!

Hope to have you back next year, Dodie!

Enjoying college for another year isn't so bad though I'm sure you'd love to be out there on the court with your team.

Dodie...sounds like you beating yourself up a little for letting the team down.....NONSENSE...you have been the heart and soul here young man and I am sure will continue to be that...heal fast and look forward to an unbelievable season next year....

Just wanna wish Dodie luck in his recovery process. Gonna miss his toughness and leadership the rest of the way. Hope to see u back next year.

Get well soon Dodie. I am selfishly looking forward to seeing you on the floor next year. You are a great reperesentative of Bradley University.

Dodie, last season when you came around to every table at the ITOO Hall and introduced yourself and took time to chat we knew you were a special young man. I often compare you to Hersey Hawkins and that is quite an honor. Keep your head up and come back next year and be the team leader again.

DD look at this as a time of reflection because this injury gives you another year and the ability to relax a bit and enjoy the ride. I wish for a quick recovery and look forward to another gifted year of your sportsmanship and leadership on and off the court.

All things happen for a reason and will work out for the best DD. I think you will now get the chance to be a part of a very special team next season. I'm hoping next year's team can create some very "Sweet" memories;)

DD....you are one of my favorite players and have impressed me even more as a caring young man! You are the epitome of what a Bradley athelete should be and I cannot wait to get you back on the court next season! Good Luck on your surgery! "D

Here's wishing you the best Dodie....

Just remember "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".....and if you believe everything happens for a reason you'll come out of this a better person.

Good luck with the recovery process and keep smiling......

Best of everything for you during your recovery. Also, thanks for the win the other night. Without you I personally think BU would be 0-2. Keep pushing your teammates and hold your head up high. I am looking forward to a strong year from you next year!!! When I hurt my ACL in college I got a lot of "attention" and sympathy from the fairer sex. Things aren't all bad! Look on the bright side.

Glad to hear the surgery went great. Take it easy and be ready to come back next year. Keep working on your teammates this year to make them better.
Wish you God's speed in your recovery

I was up on campus this afternoon, talked with a few who know Dodie and who have seen him day in and day out for the past year..
all I can say is that everyone without exception describe Dodie as the nicest and most genuine person they have met.
