Its KILLING me.....why no word yet. Did I get my hopes up too far? Where are all those guys that text messaged JL?

Can he be and is he just being selective? Are we being held hostage by Sikes? Is there a time JL just says....Son...I need an answer.....you want to be a Brave or not.

Is this just a "by product of not being able to make or recieve visits for the 3 weeks while we were still playing?

I watched the tape of the BU/KU game last nite and Lundquist mentioned how JL stated that the run had opened doors to higher level recruits we normally wouldn't be in on.

POB just announce you are returning, Waithe and Sikes committ and then I can get back to my lawn work... :lol:

Unfortunately, this is not how it's done, unless you are Duke, Kansas, etc. Even Jim Les and Bradley have to play the game and hope for the best when dealing with the few available quality recruits this late. Unfortunately you can't make their choice for them.

Remember, when Jim got started late in April, 2002 and didn't have time to recruit, he gave a scholarship to Jabbar Battle just to sign someone. That was a mistake, as JB never helped Bradley, and became the source of other issues that Jim has stayed above with his other recruits.

Jim and the staff are doing a great job and I have confidence things will be OK.

Has anyone seen or heard more about a recruit visiting this weekend? We had several reports last weekend from "spies" on campus.

I'd imagine most of them were Class of 2007 recruits. There's relatively slim pickings this late in the recruiting season, anyway....
