SIU Leading Missouri State

Fay -- just 3 pts..

Weems a relatively off day, just 5-18 and only 1-7 from 3pt

and who would have thunk it here in St. Louis...the league's winner and #1 seed...
just when it looks like they are going to get upset by a play-in team...and just when they seem to need help from somewhere mystical...
the refs answer and send them to the line for 25 free throws while SIU shoots only 11.....I'm just sayin'....

Why do I feel weird that we saw the same game? :)

And for the other poster, they were up 9 with 2:48 to go...

Just a massive chokejob combined with a great effort down the stretch by the Bears combined with an outstanding effort in pushing the Bears along by all three officials...

This worries me for tonight, especially after hearing Elgin state explicitly on radio that they'd love to have Missouri State and Wichita State in the title game...

So we should expect to play at least 5 on 7 all night.

Yeah I can't believe the refs missed those FT's down the stretch for SIU, and nailed those 3 3's, including one from about 30 feet, for MSU...

so are you guys saying the box score that proves a 25-11 difference in FT's is in error?:roll::roll::roll:

I'm glad Missouri St. did end up winning this game as this win keeps their slim at-large hopes alive. A loss would have killed any chance of making the tourney. But I still feel for teams that lose games like SIU did today. I know we've been in this spot a few times this year too. Lowery's future will be a hot topic as well.

I'm saying SIU had 1000 chances to win the game regardless of anything else and they failed. You gotta close out games. MSU knows how to, as most good teams do...SIU does not, as most bad teams do not.

Im sick of pulling for other teams in the conference!

Anymore, as long as we get ours, I could give a crap less!

I mean if Elgin doesn't care about more than n??mero uno, then why the heck should I?!

If Indiana State wins tomorrow I'd be happy, and heck I'd cheer for who's playing Missouri State, but I can't stand those #### at Creighton!

I agree, I only care about Bradley and hope Creighton loses.
