Good article about all the hoops teams in Illinois. One comment below said BU was the best team in the state, although he also said that's not saying much. The article was wrong in that it said we lost to Illinois State though, and I thought maybe it meant Southern Illinois but it said it was in 09 as well so I don't know, but other than that it is pretty basic but good.

Here are the new power rankings, BU is still 4, NW is number 1 not surprisingly. This was before our last loss obviously because he says we have won 3 straight.

Here's another great story from ESPN....
last night Purdue beat Wisconsin, but the real story is that some of the Purdue fans have a permanent deformity of their fingers...

I am shocked that college students would ever flick off a ref at a college basketball game... what are they teaching those kids at Purdue!!!

LOL! I saw that last night.... the camera went to the student section to show their reaction after ANOTHER foul (during a stretch early in the 2nd 1/2 that had as many or more fouls called in 4 minutes than were called in the whole first 1/2).

It cracks me up that you were able to capture it and post it on here. The camera showed that and quickly went away from that area of students and then again quickly away from the student section altogether.

Then as play resumed.... the students began chanting... some would say "BULLSHhhhhhh" and then others would say "IT".

Yes. I've never seen so many middle fingers at once as I did when I was in RA and BU was making a run and our section was cheering. At first I just thought they were turning around because they didn't want to watch anymore. Maybe our pick 'em could either be How many middle fingers will we see at once or how many times will we see buck ******* on the video board.
 
a Creighton fan the other night gave me a great comparison of the different arenas in the Valley - something an ISU fan may not want to hear--
