Did anyone watch?
My bet is the ratings were low, I haven't talked with anyone else yet today who watched, but there is a little controversy.
While the NL was losing with Aaron Rowand flying out to end the game, NL managaer Tony LaRussa had superstar Albert Pujols sitting on the bench and never used him.
Pujols fires back in the press with
"Albert Pujols was angry about being left on the All-Star bench and the St. Louis slugger took aim at the National League manager
"He does whatever he wants. If I wasn't expecting to play, I wouldn't have come up here."

LaRussa's excuse that Pujols was being held back incase the game went extras is silly. You have one of if not the best hitter in baseball sitting on your bench with 2 outs in the 9th and the bases loaded and you leave him there. Let alone he is your own player. Horrible decision.

I think no matter what you always take care of your own and then the others. LaRussa made a mistake and in this instance a big mistake.

This was actually the 3rd year in a row that the ratings are up. Tony LaRussa is an moron for keeping Pujols on the bench.
