Saihou is a guard so he won't be inside getting put backs. His shot has to be pretty good or he is in for a long year because we all know he has trouble playing defense right now.
Saihou is a forward and should play both forward positions (SF & PF)
And I suspect he will surprise people with both his shooting ability and his defensive abilities.
Sure he will be just a freshman in eligibility next year, but he will be like Daniel Ruffin in the sense that he will already have a year of working within Jim Les' system even before he plays his first game.

bu fan 9,
You may be correct, but the Bradley website roster has him listed as a forward. It has him at 6-6 200 lbs. compared to Boogie's 6-4 198 lbs. If he plays in the HH Summer league, it would be interesting too see his game. I hope the coaching staff can improve his defense like they did others this year.
And yes, Da Coach is correct, that once a kid enrolls at an NCAA institution, he can no longer play in events and leagues such as the Hersey Hawkins Coca Cola Summer league at the RiverPlex.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Xavier Crawford and Andrew Warren playing down there, and it is even possible Sam Maniscalco could come for a few games.
Of the two different types of summer leagues, the "NCAA Sanctioned" ones allow active players on the teams' roster to play, but allow no more than two on any particular team, and although coaches can be in the facility, they cannot coach the kids nor have more than casual contact. In fact none of the league's coaches may be on the coaching staff at any NCAA institution, and they cannot charge for admission nor parking.
(the NCAA requires paperwork that includes background checks on all the coaches, a list of the student athletes participating.)
Here is a list of the requirements for the students:
1. Student can compete in only one (1) summer basketball league.
2. The league must be NCAA sanctioned.
3. Student can only play on the same team with one (1) other teammate from the same NCAA member institution.
4. Student cannot compete in an all-star game of any kind.
5. The league must be within 100 air miles of student's official residence at the end of the previous academic year or within 100 miles of the NCAA member institution that the student is attending.
6. Student cannot receive any payments for play or expenses of any kind.
7. Student can compete in only ???‚¬?“intraleague???‚¬?? postseason play-off tournament competition, which must be completed by August 31st.
The "Non-sanctioned leagues" allow no enrolled and active players from any NCAA school, but do allow recruits who have not yet enrolled for fall classes (summer classes are exempt).
The coaches are allowed in the gym and can have contact with the kids, but the number and amount of contact is limited.
Almost everything else is unregulated by NCAA as those participating are not yet enrolled at a member school.
