Another home meltdown...

Sammy was huge tonight, but in the end, he tried to do too much. As for Brown, bad shot selection in the 2nd half. Hitting that shot at the end would have helped, but he needs to find his game...

No melt downs on this Board anymore, we are getting used to the home collapses. It isn't a big deal anymore....

BU tried hard, but inconsistancy does them in again. Hopefully BU can sign JW and then trade him for a journey man center and shooting guard. ;);)

Like UNI, BU returns everyone, but from a fifth or sixth place team. I hold out hope SM, AW, WE, DSE, AT, EM and TB get better (or more consistent) by next season. If not, JL better crank up his recruiting if he wants to hang around beyond next year.

It also wouldn't hurt if BU and JL contribute some serious $$$ to the NCAA Officials Benevolent Fund:rolleyes:
 
AW your phone is ringing. When are you going to show up? What really cost us this game was our lack of a couple Bigs like ISU had. Carmichael is going to be a ton for 3 more years. We need some bodies who can play just like him. I thought for the most part we gave a good effort we just need some big bodies. Rebounding and free throw shooting did us in again. Maybe we can pull an upset Sat. Go Braves.
 
The whole depth thing was very evident this game. We had rubber legs for the last 10 minutes, and it was obvious. Weren't we supposed to be a 'deep' team coming in? Perhaps completely forgetting about spot time for guys like AT and Milos doesn't seem like such a good idea now. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but was our defense and rebounding so great before that those guys couldn't have saved some precious minutes here or there? Whatever.

How many points did we score in the last 6 minutes?
 
Forget our record, their record, the state of the MVC, the state of our program, everything. Forget all the other things for a second and realize this:

We just got swept by ISU.

If that doesn't piss you off, then there's something wrong with you.

Oh, I'm pissed off all right! :( But, like That Guy said "at least we covered" (both first half and game)..... Cha-Ching;) :)

I believe he had a whopping 0 points in the second half. Way to come up big for us in the second half....:roll:

But wait...I thought that he was a first team all-Valley player...and his one game at Evansville "proved" that we were all wrong to criticize his play...He was back...he is first team all-Valley...blah blah blah...broken record....blah blah blah...
