Unrest among DePaul fans

I was gonna say it before I looked at it - but I had to look at it.

Yep - he's on the list.

Jim Les would be a great candidate for Depaul.

I could see Les taking a bite if he wants a big time job...

Jankovich would go...

An interesting candidate on that list is Rod Strickland, former player...I think he'd be a great hire and he would definitely recruit well...that I can guarantee.

Is DePaul considered a big time job? I know they are in the Big East, but I'm not sure that alone makes it big time. DePaul's position in the Big East seems similar to Northwestern's position in the Big X --- yes they are members, but they have neither the budgets nor fanbases to compete regularly.

Isn't most of Jim's family from up that way? Course his kids are in school here though and not sure he would move them while already in high school.

DePaul loses again, to UCLA 72-54 but the game was never close.
DePaul fans have been waiting breathlessly for Mario Stula to finally become eligible since they needed outside shooting.
Stula was 0-3 and UCLA playing with mostly freshmen outplayed, outshot, and outrebounded DePaul.

IMO DePaul fans have to realize, as most Bradley fans have, that they are not the national basketball power they used to be and keep supporting their team, as Bradley fans do. I think Coach Les is in a much better position here than at DePaul.

Accept mediocrity?

I hope that NEVER happens here.

I was at this game. Depaul did not look very good, and I've got no interest in defending them, but the statement that UCLA played with mostly freshmen is not accurate. Despite their much talked about freshman class, UCLA only starts one freshman (Jrue Holiday), and most of their minutes come from veteran players.
