illinois state does have one of the best records in the country!
perennially ISU is ahead of Evansville and Drake even in bad years, so what's the reason
in such a good year are they now behind those schools?
I have a feeling the EU's total includeds their exhibition game vs. Southern Indiana (I think that is the correct school)... in which they sold out because it is some big rivalry game... I could be wrong though... who else have they played at home? I haven't really been paying too much attention to EU
If anyone ever has a chance to go to a CU game at the Qwest Center I highly recommend going. Its an amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere. Good area close to many establishments in Omaha.
I understand WSU has a great atmosphere also. Never been there.
Through December 30:
16,107 - Creighton
10,354 - Wichita State
9,432 - Bradley
7,080 - Missouri State
6,008 - Southern Illinois
5,713 - Evansville
4,997 - Drake
4,915 - illinois state
3,439 - Northern Iowa
3,223 - Indiana State
I randomly chose to go to last year's game at the Qwest Center with my friend. It felt like an NBA stadium. Most exciting game I have ever seen in person. Crouch / Ruffin / Wilson with huge days. Big 3 after big 3, and we lost 110-111 in double OT I think. Few bad calls, things that didn't go our way, Singh missed the open hook shot to win it. What's his face Witter had like 42 points off the bench. Electric atmosphere but the weirdest thing was their cheerleading squad. They were dressed in blue and white striped overalls and looked like farmers.
It was up and down. There were almost no Bradley fans within our sight except Glasser right behind the bench and we stood up when they sat down and they glared at us, but then when they made a big play they would all stare at us. I would go again in a heartbeat.
Going to road games is great, if you can handle a little heckling.
I just happened to be in Omaha when K Kover was at CU in his senior year and they blistered Drake. Just a lot of fun and great crowd.
I also went to Evansville years ago when we had a huge half time lead, blew it in the second half and Mo got tossed. Had seats at mid court 15 rows up and they were real quiet to us when we had the lead but real "mean" when we emplodedGoing to road games is great, if you can handle a little heckling.

I love road games. Gotta get to some more of them this year.
