Bradley (7-4) returns to Carver Arena Saturday for a game with Virginia Commonwealth University (7-3) at 7:05 pm.
There will be a T-shirt giveaway, both red and white shirts to "Stripe the Arena".

Does anyone know if there is a pregame party?

The game is carried by Insight, Channel 44 in Peoria.

Who has seen these guys play this year? How tough is this going to be? I predict our team will be well motivated, to say the least.

Unless we do something stupid like bench DC and let TCS loose. *cough* BUTLER *cough*
 
Does anyone know if this game is sold out? I am supposed to go to Michigan saturday but that might get cancelled and if so, I want to go down to the game, but don't want to be standing the whole game as I will have my stepdad and little brother with me. I wish we got these with our season tickets as students because I would easily make the drive down there for the home games over break.

From today's PJS.....

tickets: Saturday's game against Virginia Commonwealth (7-3) is approaching a sellout, said BU ticket manager Rob Bogardus. A few hundred Priority III $12 upper-bowl tickets are available.

That's especially good because it increases the chances of this year's committee chairperson, Thomas O'Connor, seeing our game. He's the AD at George Mason (all the more reason we MUST play George Mason in the BracketBuster). It certainly would help us out if he sees us put a beating on their conference favorite this Saturday.

I agree with benching DC but I think that Cole-Scott can be a very good player down the road. If he can start playing defense and make some threes he can be very productive off the bench. I thinks that he could be instant offense off the bench and could provide a lift when we get "stuck on a number" at some point during every game.

I've NEVER seen a game where you couldn't "grab a seat" somewhere. People get sick, go on vacation or just plain don't show up. Grab a cheap ticket and just lurk. You may stand for awhile but scout out an open seat...if no one sits in it for ahwile just act like its yours and plop down.

Just make sure it isn't mine...:)

I would agree with you if we were in the beginning of the season/earlier but they need to be 'adjusted' by now and I have not seen improvement. I stuck by them in the beginning but when you get to this point its hard to say they'll be OK down the line.
 
I know it's still early for most in the season but the VCU game is a MUST WIN IN MY BOOK! It's time to get back on track and take one of these games to task and put close to 40 minutes together! It's time for the BIGS to show up.......time for the 3's to start going in.....time for an identity this season to show up on the court as to "who we are"! SO far we are not the big 3 pt shooting team .......we have not showed much of an inside presence.....so what is our identity? It's hard to come back from 15-20 deficits and win.....the slow starts are bad! I expect JC to give us a game after the Bulter game when he just all but vanished....DR gets a pass from me with the injury....and AW is still a 2nd year player trying to get his groove.....JC needs to get it going and not off the dribble! Get open and fire up some 3's......and it's time to let DC work through some mistakes.....noboby gets better on the bench!

Works for me.....

We need to show that the CROWD is getting better also. How about a little MSU type performance. This is a big game. I know I'm preachin to the choir as all of the bradley fan posters will do their part.
