Wardle contract extension

Great news for sure. Thanks coach Wardle and Dr Reynolds for making us proud of Bradley basketball once again!!Go BU!!

AWESOME!!! Coach Wardle has brought this program to some great heights...the buzz is the best it's been since Coach Les' glory days as head coach.

Probably played a part in his decision to stay at BU with his daughter at BU as well. Now hoping going forward the program can land in the Big dance and maybe make some noise.

This is a good deal for BU, Wardle, good for recruiting- adds confidence for potential recruits that Wardle is committed long term & it is good for the fans.

Anyone who disagrees after Wardle brought BU back from the worst situation in 2015 that any school had ever faced, is prob the same person who cheered when BU had to pay several $ million to buy out of very unwise extensions a decade ago when the higher ups rewarded themselves and the staff for a single .500 season against the worst SOS BU had ever faced.

Ive been following the top 144 teams for this year from College Sports Madness! Drake was listed as 5th for MVC, Belmont 4th for MVC, UNI at 3rd for MVC and Illinois State cracked the top 100 at 99th nationwide and 2nd in MVC!!!! So who will be the other Valkey Team in top 100 and First for MVC? If I'm correct I'm hoping BU!!! BU because we've had a great history lately with Coach Wardle with a # 1 recruiting class! We will have to wait and see! However, if Murray State is listed 1 in Valley, I wouldn't be shocked as they've had a pretty successful overall transfer portal ratings! It's wait and see time! Everyday is a new team added!

With as much as Bradley lost, it would surprise me to see them being picked #1. The top 4 scorers, all of whom were multi-year starters and double-digit scorers, are gone. No returning player averaged more than 6.6 ppg, and only one transfer had double-digits in D1 (Huibregtse 13.5 ppg at Wright State).
Murray lost essentially everyone, so they probably shouldn't be picked that high either. But much has been made about the number and quality of their transfers, so, I'm guessing it will be them.

DC and Steve, if Murray State would be picked as #1, I am missing where Bradley would be lining up. Would they be outside of the top 144 teams?

Looks like they project a long year for Bradley's team and fans. I thought we would be down around 4th or 5th but I must be optimistic. We just lost so much

Bradley comes in a #96 in the College Sports Madness Top 144 ranking, and #1 in the MVC-

Here is their profile of Bradley-

I am a little surprised, since no team lost more talent from last season than the Braves. Let's hope they can live up to this ranking.
Here is how they ranked the top 5 teams in the MVC-
1) Bradley (#96 overall)
2) Illinois State (#99 overall)
3) Northern Iowa (#101 overall)
4) Belmont (#112 overall)
5) Drake (#121 overall)
6-11) everyone else
