Dave Reynolds claims his record of predicting is 8-5...but he picked SIU to beat Bradley and oddly, that pre-SIU game prediction is NOT online any more.
but is 8-5 all that good??
If you just picked Bradley 100% of the time, you'd be 8-5
and if you picked the team with the higher RPI each time, you'd be 11-2
and if you just picked the home team every time you'd be 8-2 but BU played 3 tourney/neutral site games, so in those you just pick the higher rated team and go 2-1 for an overall 10-3.
or even if you pick the team who is alphabetically first, you'd be 8-5
or if you picked the team with the biggest home arena each time you'd be 11-2!!
or even if you picked Bradley to win all the games that either I or Da Coach went to you'd be 10-3.
Vegas odds just switched over to Bradley as the 1 point favorite
I see Missouri State listed as a current 3-point favorite at almost every sportsbook.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
This is not going to be an easy game as Mo.St. beat Arkansas at home earlier this season which was Arkansas only loss. We are going to have to score more points tonight and shoot the ball much better in order to win this game. I think we need to score 74 points .
This is a big game tonight because it is a winnable game against a team that shows flashes of brilliance (Arkansas), but is inconsistent. Their 0-2 start in the Valley shows that. We've never done well at their place, but this is a different place this year in their new facilities. MSU may still be getting used to their new digs too. So while I'm glad that we snagged a road victory at WSU, a second one would be even better!
What? If we win it's only because they are without their leading scorer?
I don't think so. Bradley is clearly the better coached, and quicker team, from what I see.
And you forgot to mention, Bradley has been without their leading scorer all year.

Exactly what I thought....and a probable starting center as well. If we can't use injuries as an excuse then nobody in the Valley can...nobody. We have had more hardships with injuries to big contributors than maybe every other team in the valley.
