I know that some of those same people profiled have been working on talks with incoming freshmen who are interested in the major- Brad Johansen, Dave, KW and others are involved in encouraging it as a major at BU- plus the BU Communications Alumni Network- which I am a part of is also excited and engaged with it.

I believe this is great but what would even be better is to create a dual major with the CS dept. or some type of crossover discipline so students can understand the medium going forward that they will have to live in to be successful. With the advent of video streaming we will see writers and communication specialists who can create content for print and video be highly rewarded.
