The Bradley Website story......
according to the article the next opponent will be announced Thursday...but it also says priority iv seats ($9) will be 2/1 @ Shea only!
PEORIA, Ill. ? Senior forward Theron Wilson led Bradley with 18 points and 18 rebounds and the Braves (19-14) opened the inaugural CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament with an 81-74 victory against Austin Peay (19-14) Wednesday night at Carver Arena.
3 things about the game....
--we came out firing and hit early 3's against their zone, especially Eddren
--their Drake Reed has a shot at playing in the NBA, he is a very good player
--I am excited we are still playing, but can't help looking ahead to next year with such a fine bunch of guards coming back plus Andrew!!
and the attendance was still way better than Peay gets at their home games!!
I agree and I also want to say the refs did a fantastic job tonight. There was only one questionable call against TW but otherwise it was as good as it gets!
Also I believe TB will be a great Brave before he leaves. He is a different player then TW, he's more of a fundamental basketball player who is extremely athletic. TW is just a beast. Hopefully TB will hit the weights and become a hybrid. It was also good to see EM and DN take their shots.

Anyone can for their own opinion. The CBI has some schools that have more national visibility, or are from BCS conferences like Oregon State (13-17), Stanford, and St. Johns (16-17).
They also have several that do not have winning records like St. Johns, Oregon State, and Wichita State (16-16). 5 of the 16 teams have losing records in their conferences.
Here are the CBI teams-
The CIT has 16 teams- all with a winning record. The CIT teams are less heralded, and not known as much to people around the country because they rarely appeared on TV, but I think it is a slightly better quality group of teams.
Here are the 16 CIT teams-
Any tournament that will sell slots to multiple teams like St. Johns and Oregon State, who have losing records, detracts a bit from my interest and respect.
As long as it is open season on opinions, my theory is that the NCAA is covertly (though not officially) behind the CIT, the goal being to compete with the CBI with the ultimate outcome of destroying both tournaments and restoring their monopoly on post-season tournaments.
It's the same thing that happened back in '90 when the National League owners publicly objected to the formation of the Players League but secretly supported it, knowing that it would draw support away from the American Association, which was then gaining traction, causing both of the competing leagues to fold and restoring the NL's monopoly for another decade.
By the way, the CIT is listing Bradley vs. Oakland for Monday, so presumably it's official now? From the website:
QUARTERFINALS:
Monday March 23
James Madison (20-14) @ Liberty (22-11)
Belmont (20-12) @ Old Dominion (21-10) /The Citadel (20-12)
This line from the Pjstar is journalism gold.... "The Austin Peay Governors performed Wednesday night at Carver Arena much like other governors in our state recently, making lots of costly mistakes and putting up a fight before being ousted in the end."
