Simply filty, disgusting and racist language.
It unfortunately reminds of the stupidity of the Danny Granger incident. I have little respect for people who play the race card, especially in something as racially unbiased as the game of basketball in the year 2009. There may have been racism in basketball back in the Adolph Rupp days, but if anything these days it's the white player who is stereotyped as slow and unathletic, and perhaps not given the opportunities that they may warrant. But I would bet dollars to donuts that 99% of the basketball coaches out there want a kid that can play, regardless of whether he's black, white, green, or blue. If they aren't of that mindset, they likely won't be in coaching very long.

Cavel Witter, who had announced he was leaving Creighton, now might be returning--

Gotta love drama. This may be a precursor to CU's season. I really think Altman will have to alter his coaching style or he will have a mutiny similar to what WSU went through. Will Altman go the way of Bob Knight and other "old-timers" and become irrelevant?

How do you take a player back after he quits and then changes his mind later, didn"t Dana do the same thing?

              You made me laugh!

I really hope though that CU get's their act together during the summer. They have as much talent as we do coming back and I'd like to think that if they have a good non-conference record, as well as UNI and ourselves then the MVC could be a 3 team NCAA conference. ISU needs to step up their non-con schedule. That really hurts every top team if they end up winning the MVC with a weak schedule. There is really no excuse and I hope the commisioner starts doing something about it. I'd rather have a losing record with a good schedule then a winning one with a terrible one.

I also would like to see us upgrade our schedule a bit every year from here on out. Besides the Vegas Tourney our schedule looks to be just OK. We will have to do well in the Vegas Tourney to truly help ourselves with our schedule. I would not mind another 2-1 with a top 10 team or maybe playing a top non-BCS school 1-1, like Gonzaga. The Butler game is a good one for us but a few of the others are nothing to brag about.

That is no doubt the case. Hard to belittle Dana A, after his successful run in the MVC. They showed what type of individuals they were with their internet messages. Creighton, the MVC and basketball would be better off without them and their type.

                  Agreed
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!
