Unfortunately I only was able to watch the game in the 2nd half when BU started their home swoon. Poor shot selection, poor rebounding, poor FT shooting, inability of BU to attack a zone, atrocious BU defense and a team with much better shooters than BU will lead to blown leads at home.
Down the stretch, a BU turnover, a terrible NBA range 3 miss by BU, a mid court BU foul, a missed BU FT, astonishingly no perimeter defense by BU gives up a wide open 3 to a hot shooting team, another missed BU FT lead to OT. Wow. Fortunately for BU the Carver Arena wet floor syndrome leads to a ISU turnover before they could win in regulation.
Place looked like a morgue.
Win or lose tonight, if JG and her new AD are as smart as I think they are, they won't wait for the BU program to descend to end of Mo era depths before they make a change to get this program going again.
trees will never shoot 3's like that again....braves will be 2-4 coming home against mo st. Our D is incredibly bad, but I still think we'll rally and finish strong and avoid Thursday if we stay healthy. The sched lightens up towards the end. I did like Jim's rotation tonight other than Singh getting too many minutes again.
