The Score was reporting around 4:00 that Chicago had offered Izzo according to one of the MSU Trustees. The guys at the station were saying that they think it was more than likely just a feeler to see if he would be interested and not a true $$ offer.

rumor has it that if Izzo goes, then Michigan State is coming after Bill Self who will readily jump from Kansas given the horrid scandals brewing
and the likelhood of ending up playing in the Mountain West or MVC if Kansas stands pat.....

MSU has to many great candidates with MSU ties to go after a carpet bagger like Self. I would be shocked if they would hire him.

Izzo is still not decided....he's either serious about leaving for the Cavs or he's trying to play this into a bigger, long term counter-offer from Michigan State...
