Of those 3 players mentioned-
Vincennes beat Southwestern Illinois in overtime Friday night to win the NJCAA Region 24 championship game 76-65. Deshawn Delaney has had a great tournament. He scored 20 points and had 16 rebounds on Thursday night against Wabash Valley in their semifinal. He had 16 & 5 Wednesday night against Kaskaskia, and was the key player Friday night as well as he brought his team from behind to force overtime, then scored the key baskets in overtime to pull away.
Deshawn Delaney is averaging 15.6 ppg and 7.8 rpg for the season.
Deshawn Delaney info-
A lot of recruiting sites list Delaney smaller than 6'6"-
6'4" according to Rivals-
From the Vincennes website- 6'5"-
Jaden Uken was in Tyler, Texas for the Region 14 NJCAA tournament to watch Chris Blake of Lee College. Lee has advanced to the championship game tonight against Navarro College.
On Tuesday night, Chris Blake scored 8 points and had 7 rebounds in Lee's 76-73 win over Blinn College as Assistant Coach Jaden Uken watched.
On Thursday night, Blake scored 2 points and had 6 rebounds as Lee beat Jacksonville College 101-96 to advance to the finals.
On Friday night, Lee upset the #1 seed Kilgore 88-73. Chris Blake had 8 points, and 3 rebounds.
For the season, Chris Blake, a former player at Air Force Academy, is averaging about 8 points and 6 rebounds per game.
Chris Blake info-
The third name mentioned by Dave is also one we have had a recruiting thread about-
Jordan Swopshire-

Tymell Murphy wasn't a real prolific scorer in juco so I guess you can never say for sure about Chris Blake - but Blake's numbers kinda make JP look like POB...
btw - on the list of top juco 3-pt shooters...
...nearly 20 hit 45% or better, more than 40 hit 43% or better, and if you count D-II jucos then >100 of them hit 43% or better -
which is "light years" (pardon the borrowed term) better than anyone we have currently.........
The vast majority of these kids are yet unsigned......
One of them shooting about 50% and hitting 4 or more treys a game - is a kid named Jordan Johnson who is an incredible 3-pt shooter and is said to routinely be able to hit from half court...
..he is still unsigned...and coincidentally sounds like a great kid from a very good family...
One other - Devonte Malcolm - likewise hits about 45%, nails 4 or more per game, and averages almost 20 ppg
If anyone watched the display that ISU's Tyler Brown put on last night to beat UNI - and if you can imagine how much better we would have been had we landed Tyler Brown - a guy that can singlehandedly win games for you with his shooting - then we gotta get someone like this.

One interesting note- I notice the leading scorer for Lee College is a kid named Jamal Jones, a 6'8", 185 pound sophomore who leads the team with an average of 17.1 ppg, and he averages 5.4 rpg. He is more of a wing forward, and started his college career at Mississippi. He was fairly highly recruited coming out of high school. He is not committed yet. He also shoots 35% on threes and has taken more of them than anyone on the Lee team (Chris Blake never attempted one).

ISU fans seem to think they are a lock for at least a CIT or CBI bid - after all they have a winning record, and an RPI of a little over 100.
Would one of those tourneys also extend a bid to a team in the same conference that did not have a winning record & finished with an RPI almost 100 slots worse - even worse than the 10th place MVC team and and an extremely weak non-conference SOS?
I sure hope so and I hope our admin takes the bid since they were said to have declined a bid in 2010........

But I don't know if he is the type of player fans really want.
Chris Blake had a double-double tonight as Lee College won the Region 14 tournament and advanced to the NJCAA finals. Lee was the No 5 seed in the tournament.
Blake had 12 points and 10 boards tonight. He averaged 7.5 pts and 6.5 RPG in the four games. 56% from the floor. 75% from the line with 7 steals and 3 blocks in 4 games.
Maybe not sexy statistics, but I think solid enough.

Our coaches have traveled to watch Blake multiple times, and they like him, though he is a bit undersized for a 5.
Here are the stats for Saturday night's title game in region 14 won by Lee over the #2 seeded Navarro-
