FWIW - we were told that Willie was leaving because he wanted to get back to Chicago (where he could stay involved in his clothing business and be closer to his "ailing mother"), he looked forward to being a head coach again, and he wanted to coach at the high school level. Now less than two years later he's in the middle of Iowa, and he's an assistant coach at a 4-year college that's a little less well known than Bradley.

Mitchell Anderson, Jr. - the son of Bradley great Mitchell JJ Anderson - has now signed with French professional team FC Mulhouse Basket
Unforunately for Mitchell, however, after two games he was injured and is out for a few months...

In his first season coaching the Chicago Steam - ex-Brave Mitchell Anderson has done a great job...

they finished the regular season 19-1, then won their Regional and played their way to the Final Four of the American Basketball Assoc. - which has 64 teams in 11 divisions!

Unfortunately, they got paired in the Final Four with the undefeated Shreveport Mavericks (for whom the Finals were essentially a home game).
The Mavericks had won over 50 straight games ...and they went on to win the Championship
