btw- the local media and editorial viewpoint has already gone on record...wonder if their position has changed....
previously...they were extremely vocal in their opposition and displeasure to have regular season games on campus, if you recall...
they thought it was an insult to the "7,500 season ticket base" who wouldn't fit there..and we'd have
"potentially 3,000-4,000 ticked-off fans.... Why would you risk that
at a time when discontent with the program has been rising"?
"now it’s taking a step backwards, to a much smaller arena than it left in the first place.
In fact, BU hasn’t played home games in a gym so small since leaving the old Armory in 1949."
...also - that it was even that it was an NCAA VIOLATION and would lose money big time - but we hear one of that now...

I have to believe at this coming home game .....
We will have Fred Flintstone yelling nonsense at us EVERY TIME OUT OR BREAK IN ACTION, lids on the basket we are trying to shoot wide open free throws and uncontested layups, a refrain from common sense at half time, very little crowd involvement and not too big a crowd. Naturally, since the man at the mic does not believe we can think for ourselves, we will be told when to stand, for how long and when there is two minutes left in every half {why not also three, four, five, six, seven, eight, ..... ?}. Oh! There will be a basketball game there as well. I say we go down by eight. I am so starved for a winner.

Just being able to take Bell out for periods of time should keep him fresher and more effective. That alone should help prevent some of our offensive dry spells that we have had every game so far. Geno hasn't appeared comfortable with anyone else playing point.Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

PJ Star article- And the buildup of Central Michigan is in high gear as Dave says the Keno Davis coached Chippewas are like the 2008 Drake team that won the MVC regular season and tournament and went to the NCAA.
Here are a few clips-
Davis??™ third Central Michigan team, which visits BU in a 7:05 p.m. start, is looking decidedly more like that remarkable Drake squad...
CMU is off to a 5-0 start, its best since opening the 1980-81 season with five victories. Although all five games have been at home and the competition has been pretty weak (Alma, Youngstown State, Maine, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Grand Canyon), the numbers don??™t lie.
The Chippewas are averaging 82 points per game, beating teams by an average of 23 points, shooting 48 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3 on 27 attempts per outing and outrebounding foes by a 10.2 margin.
BU coach Geno Ford said. ???They??™re a great 3-point shooting team..."
The Braves showed much improvement defensively and on the boards
Point guard Tramique Sutherland, out with a broken finger for six weeks, could make his Bradley debut Tuesday, but a decision won??™t be made until near game time.
