Donar now is blowing out Leiden....
only 4 minutes remaining and Donar leads 77-56 and that run to a 21 point lead was largely Rienk Mast getting HOT
Rienk played just 12 minutes of the 2nd half and was 4-5, hitting THREE 3-pointers, grabbing 6 rebs, 2 asst, 2 steals, 2 blocks -
his +/- stat is +27 - almost double the best that anyone of the other 21 players on the floor has!!Comment

He was arguably the player of the game altho starting guard Teddy Gipson (19 pts/8 reb) was pretty good, too
after a 2-13 1st half from the arc, Donar went 12-16 from the arc in the 2nd half!!
DONAR sweeps the semi-final series and advances to the Championship series vs. the winner between Zwolle & Den Bosch

it was because he arrived a little late due to taking final exams!!!!

-win the top pro league Championship with the "flagship" Donar team
-then go play on scholarship & get his degree (diploma) at Bradley!

#2 seed Zwolle takes the series over #3 seed Den Bosch, and now they will face #4 seed Donar on Tuesday May 21
This will be a 7 game series with Donar hosting 3 home games.
The games will be May 21 (at Zwolle), May 23 (at Donar), May 25 (at Zwolle) and May 28 (at Donar) - then 3 more games - not yet scheduled, if necessary

Donar takes Game 1 of the Championship series 72-69, rallying from a 7-pt halftime deficit and
outscoring Zwolle 21-9 over the final 3 minutes of the game to complete a great comeback.
Rienk was scoreless but grabbed 5 rebs & an assist & a steal
He also did a good job on perimeter defense and Zwolle's 4-22 (18%) from 3-pt range was a big reason Donar won!
Next game Thursday is a home game for Donar.Comment

Rienk has a full schedule right now. Playing for the U21 team (sadly lost the final), doing exams and playing for main squad.
