For those with ESPN+ the Hamilton and Westtown game is under the prep section. Westtown won the game. Drew and Garcia both play. I not sure Garcia played much in the first half but he played all or most of the second half. Hamilton's sophomore center didn't score much but he blocked a lot of shots. I believe the announcer said 8. I will reserve comment on the players of interest play during the game.

Above, I posted his height as 6'7", since that is what the roster page from his prep school shows-
https://hamiltonheightssports.com/10...dersson-garcia
But from the video, he doesn't look quite 6'7", though that is hard to tell. Verbalcommits gives his height at 6'5", but then they are often a little too low, since they don't update those height numbers after they create the kids' page, so recruits can grow some more and the site still reports their height from what it was when the page was created. We saw that with Stephan Gabriel.
https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...157#post459157
His Verbalcommits page initially showed him at 6'5" for a long time, and only after he committed to Bradley it was eventually changed to 6'7".
But if Bradley can land kids with the kind of athleticism these recent recruits have, it bodes well for Bradley's future.

I believe one of our coaches may have been up in Joliet recently to watch Jamere Hill of Joliet West HS (see post #83 above).

Heard that BU staff was checking out a 6'5" unsigned, senior SG in Chicago burbs last night. It will be interesting to see who they get to fill this class.

One of Bradley's top targets for their final 2020 scholarship is guard Latrell Wrightsell, Jr., a senior at Omaha Central HS, who we have have reported on here since October, 2018 . He and his family have already visited Bradley. He has reportedly grown to 6'3" now, and he is putting up big numbers so far this season.

This past week he was named the High School Player of the Week by an Omaha TV station after leading his Omaha Central team to 3 wins and the championship of a local tournament-

Then he followed those performances with a 24 point game last night to lead his team to a big win over Lincoln HS. They are now 5-0-

He is among the top returning 3-point shooters in the state of Nebraska from last season-

The one thing I remember Jeremy Fears for that Bradley fans never got to see-
When he played at Ohio University, sometimes after big home wins, he would do an acrobatic backflip on the court (similar to when Ozzie Smith of the Cardinals first came onto the field).
Here is a photo of him-

One of the top players in Illinois for the class of 2023 (high school freshmen) is Jeremy Fears, Jr. of Joliet West HS.

How many fans remember his father, Jeremy Fears, Sr.?
He was a terrific player out of Joliet (Joliet Township HS) who played 2 years at Ohio U. (2004-05 and 2005-06) and was a star.
But then he left Ohio U. and committed to transfer to Iowa State. However, he reneged and instead transferred to Bradley when Iowa State fired their head coach Wayne Morgan. He was at Bradley for 1 year (2006-07), but left before he ever played for Jim Les. I heard there were personal issues.
https://bradleybraves.com/sports/men...emy-fears/8172
But I recall that he had a young child that year when he was sitting out at Bradley because his girlfriend sat right behind the bench (in the section I sit in) at a few games that season with the child. But after leaving Bradley, he finished his career playing for a Division II school University of South Carolina-Aiken. He averaged 17.3 ppg for them in 2007-08 -
https://pacersports.com/sports/mens-...emy-fears/2614
After leaving USC-Aiken, it looks like he played several years for multiple teams in Europe-
https://www.eurobasket.com/player/Je...lcons-BC/46287
Anyway, if the son is just starting his freshman year and already has several offers, and is being recruited by and is visiting a Big Ten school like Wisconsin, he must be pretty good.
