See the players that the coaching staff are in contact with. Wonder if they have narrowed down to a specific few. We have six available rides to give. We desperately need a PF, wing, and center that can give immediate contribution in scoring and rebounding. We can land them and our three freshman guards should make for another good year and beyond.

He would be a good get but I really would like to find some athletic big men that are capable of scoring and rebounding that are transfers or Jucos. I think we have 6 available scholarships left and we are in need of a starting PF, wing and a center. Meta, Almar and Thomas are ok. but I see them as better bench players. He's an "undersized" scoring guard but very talented...
Bradley did then offer - and in fact, I recall that we were the first DI to offer him...
..but prob dropped off somewhere and Peterson landed at Indiana State, obviously Josh Schertz knew he could score...
He didn't play much as a freshman at Indiana State mainly due to injury but because they had Cooper Neese, Julian Larry, Xavier Bledson, and few other decent scorers
and also had high scorer Courvasier McCauley & also Jayson Kent transferring in.
So - He transferred out looking for more playing time and finally landed at ETSU after a year at juco.
He is now one of the best scorers in the nation
19ppg, 4 rpg, 4 asst, and 2 steals/game and hits 40.4% of 3-pointers - and almost 80% on FTs

BUT.....because of the recent NCAA juco waiver, Peterson does get an extra year of eligibility. I sure hope he hits the portal,

Jim played 2 seasons at Spoon River College after graduating from East Peoria HS, then transferred to Bradley. He was a walk-on for the 1997-98 and 1998-99 teams, and a great guy. He got into 4 games each season.

Bradley began recruiting Quinton Kitt back at the end of last summer.
