  • Brian Jones returns to Bradley as assistant coach

Coach Wardle completed his coaching staff by naming Brian Jones as assistant coach-

He is not yet listed on the Bradley website, but Dave Eminian has a story in the PJ Star - https://www.pjstar.com/story/sports/...s/83256148007/

Brian Jones was an assistant coach with Coach Wardle for one season in 2022-23 when he took Coach Drew Adams assistant position after Coach Adams left for Cincinnati. He left after the 2022-23 season and took an assistant coach position at East Tennessee State for the last 2 seasons.

Brian Jones was an assistant coach under Dan Muller at ISU for 3 seasons from 2019-2022, and took over as Interim Head Coach late in the final year there when Muller stepped down a couple weeks before the end of their season-

Brian Jones is 54 years old, a native of Rock Island, Illinois, and he played basketball at UNI (1990-1994). He has been an assistant coach at Nebraska-Omaha (now known as Omaha), at Southwest Missouri State (now known as Missouri State) under Steve Alford, and at Iowa, also under Alford. And he was head coach at the University of North Dakota from 2006-2019. Jimmie Foster was an assistant under Jones at North Dakota for one season before he eventually ended up as an assistant coach at Green Bay under Brian Wardle.
After Jones was let go by North Dakota in 2019, he was then hired by Dan Muller as an assistant coach at ISU from 2019-2022. Jones and Wardle have been acquaintances for a long time.
