Wichita State won their first exhibition game 76-63 over Division II Arkansas Tech. Attendance was 10,478.

Evansville hosted Division II Oakland City College tonight in the only exhibition game on their schedule. Their website gets the award for the slowest site to post any results from their games. There is still no word on their game on their official site.
From an Evansville fan who was at the game I have learned that Evansville won by 39 points. I am still waiting for details.

Missouri State beat Arkansas Tech Thursday 91-67, but the Techies seemed to hang closer to the Shockers.
In fact, all the starters for Wichita played pretty heavy minutes.
Arkansas Tech's team nickname is the "Wonderboys"!
My guess is the womens' team nickname must be a little different.

Furman loses to DII USC-Aiken 76-64, Richwoods' Justin Dehm played 16 minutes, was 0-3, a rebound and 3 assists.
Arizona State 80 - Grand Canyon University 50, ex-Creighton "star" Ty Morrison had 8pts, 10 rebs for GCU, Arizona State started 3 freshmen and sophomore transfer from Duke, Eric Boateng, who scored 7.

Butler beat Marian 83-49
New Mexico State beat Cal State-Los Angeles 80-66, freshman phenom Herb Pope sat this one out as there are lingering questions about his eligibility and he has not been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

By the way, Evansville played well and destroyed Oakland City College 82-43.
This article seems to be taking a little swipe at Steve Merfeld hinting Marty Simmons has them playing better in just one game than Steve Merfeld ever did!

Furman's Justin Dehm has now played in 3 games for Furman.
Furman has lost all three games by an average margin of 20 points per game, with Justin having games of zero points, 17 points, and 11 pts (with 7 TO), but at least as a freshman, Justin is playing over 20 minutes per game.
