Good luck, but I suspect the way you will have to end up getting tickets to a Friday game will be by paying a premium on StubHub.com

if you don't mind getting up early, i did this numerous times last year, head to the park early. they open up same day tickets at 8 am weekdays and 9 am weekends. i dont know where these extra tickets come from but theyre just there. you have to get to the ticket box at wrigley by then tho because there's only a certain amount available. for most weekends and big series (against the white sux, cardinals and others) get there atleast a half hour before it opens, i normally go atleast an hour or two for these. you only pay face-value with no extra charges or anything. with the limited amount of tickets i wouldnt suggest this for a large group, i'd say more than 4 and you won't all be sitting together. plus its an excuse to hit the bars early for those afternoon games. might i suggest salt n pepper on addison just south of wrigley across from sluggers for breakfast and old style, then just head across the street to sluggers or wherever to continue the pre-game festivities. hope that helps. if you have any more questions just let me know.

I am a cardinals fan, but I do think stubhub.com will be your best bet.

I think these guys may have a couple for sale. They are Cubs executives.

Get there early and buy from a scalper across the street, there literally will be dozens of them selling.

Buying them off a street scalper will be WAY more expensive than online. Especially for Fri-Sun games. They mark up nearly 4x when online its about 2x.
