Antoine Pittman played his first two years of high school at Rockford Jefferson HS then transferred to Rockford Auburn for his junior & senior years.
An injury right at the end of his junior season kept him out of the limelight for a while so despite mid-to-high major talent - he had only mid-major offers to choose from (Green Bay, EIU, SIU..)
But he averaged 16.3 ppg & 6.5 rpg on a strong Auburn squad his senior season..and there are several highlight reel videos of him -especially his dunks...
He could be a great player for us..he has Chris Roberts-like leaping ability and agility...
Welcome to BU Antoine!! I would say we are set at the guard position now after Antoines commitment.... lets see if we can get a couple bigs to round out this intriguing recruiting class.
How can anyone not be impressed with Coach Wardle's recruiting class, considering he didn't get started recruiting here until the beginning of April, and he hasn't had a full staff yet. We have gotten used to settling for leftover marginal D1 recruits this time of year, including juco and transfers, and IMO, this recruiting class (which is not completed yet) is among the top 2 or 3 classes in the MVC.

Spent some time talking to one of the assistants this week and was really impressed with their approach and attention to culture. It's not going to be a great season by normal standards but I believe we will see an identity in this team right at the start of the season
Pittman, who plans to major in sports communication, was sought by several schools upon his release from Green Bay, including UIC, Valparaiso, Southern Illinois, Northern Illinois, South Dakota and St. Bonaventure. He said UIC was the only other institution he considered.
The more video I watch the more Antoine reminds me of Eric Roberson with the high knees to finish off every dunk! Very excited for next season and what players Coach Wardle will bring in with the 3 remaining rides!
